But yesterday my grandson went across the pasture and it quiet. It will start but when you touch the gas it dies. Any Idles. I checked the fuel pressure, and it was 48 lb. Thanks for all your help!!

Why do they call them differentials when they are clearly spools with zero differential capacity? It looks like more frequent oil changes would have helped that.

My 2004 Honda Rubicon 500 is making a grinding sound from the rear. I am pretty sure the sound is coming from the differential. The four-wheeler won't move in any gear. What is your opinion on it? Do I need to replace the rear differential?

if you do not use RTV on the base gasket, how do you keep it from leaking ... i just reassembled mine and it leaked like a sieve !! i think i missed the dowel guides ....

Hello. I have a loud ticking noise from a rancher 350 copy. Odes 400. New cylinder. Honda cylinder head and studs. Valve clearance is spot on. But I listened and the sound it from the top end. Inspected it and I got it on video, the exhaust valve opens slightly then drops and that's the tick. I saw ii has a decompression system, but I couldn't find any post on this topic. Is it possible that this system could be stuck? How does it work? Any answer is appreciated before I disassemble it myself. It's my first quad, and parts are kinda hard to find they don't always fit from Honda to this Chinese copy. Found something on aliexpress but without this mechanism. Thank you very much for your work!!

Similar procedure for rancher 420? I literally cannot find a single video about this specific to the rancher. My only concern is getting the damn thing out because I have a 4wd/front diff model. I do have a blind bearing slide hammer but I'm not sure if it will fit.. ugh. I dunno what the hell i'd do without your videos lol. Just know its extremely appreciated buddy

Recently I commented on another of your videos, “flywheel bolts backed out and made a mess”. Anyways, as I was putting front cover back on I noticed the looseness on the dial nearest oil pump housing. I did place a new oring on that one. It was the only dial, I’ve had this ( 2004’ trx450fe ) for awhile now. No oil in the air box. Many hours and miles we’ve ran it. I’ve been bothered by it seeming to run warmer than I’d like but it keeps on going. Down to only installing air box and fuel tank to test run. Looks like I’ll be pulling cover back off. I want to thank you for taking the time to make and post these videos. Thanks! 👍🏼

i have a 1990 fourtrax 300 4x4...will not move when i put it in gear (i bought it like that)...installed new shifter clutch, centrifugal and one-way bearing..(the kickstart now works at least)...quadrupled checked my work......still nothing....runs fine.....i can shift through all gears when running including reverse...driveshafts, diffs are good....but will not move......i don't mind splitting the engine.....but what should i look for when i do??...(your videos have been very helpful)....thanks for your time, efforts and knowledge!!

this is an excelent video of engine assemble. I replaced replaced timing chain and slider with info fromthis video on my 2015 TRX500 yesterday and the engine runs good. i can feel the shifter changing from nuetral to reverse and first but the machine does not travel forward or reverse. feels like clutch slipping. so i dissassembled it again and found the clutch disc had a little binding. i loosened the four bolts holding the plate and springs keeping the clutch together and it unbound, looked good, put back together and still slips. had no problem with clutch slipping before the slider broke and the timing chain got loose and making noise. can you give me an idea what i may have missed?

thanks, this video helped out a lot. I;ve got 10K miles on mine and doubt they’d ever been adjusted. The exhausts were a little loose, but the intakes were still ok.

Hey mate just followed this video step by step and have put it back together runs perfectly apart from it says its in neutral then i try engage reverse neutral light goes off but no reverse. Press down again and i have reverse. Then lift up 2 times i have neutral. Same with up shifting 1st gear is 2 times up then the rest seem lime all neutral. Then easedown on the shifter again gently to head to neutral and its clunking some gears. Gets some gears with abit of persuasion but yes 😂😂 any ideas cheers¡

Great video, I’m wondering if I need to work on my ‘06 rancher 350. No smoke and motor runs good but got a knock/noise coming from the lower end of the motor. No notice of reduced power or anything. Is this something i should work on or just ride it til i get smoke or reduced performance.

Careful at 3:40 when you took that little metal bushing off there's an oil hole that lines up with the transmission shaft. Some of the metal bushing aren't splined but that one is and it looks like you put it a spline off (just warning ppl watching) Also, THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO!!!! makes my life so much easier and less stressful having a play by play.

Should the crank turn freely by hand? I just assembled both halves and had my crank professionaly rebuilt but now with the 2 halves assembled i can only turn the crank with the crank bolt and a ratchet. It does turn easily with the ratchet with no bimding in any spot is this how it should be?
